There are many ways for a highly sensitive person to become healthy. In my experience, using herbs and other similar remedies can help but for a highly sensitive person, it is imperative that they develop a health regimen for themselves that will treat the roots of any imbalances they have and help them to be healthy day in and day out.
Ayurveda is the holistic healing system that provides the greatest chance of creating long term health in my experience. It works with all other healing approaches including the Western medical system and therefore can be used in conjunction with energy medicine specialties like reiki and EFT for healing deep traumatic stress.
