Why You Haven’t Been Able To Heal

Many people have been working on healing for decades. The human potential movement which began in the mid-1900s also ushered in interest in discovering ways to transform our painful histories. Meditation, affirmation, and alternative medicine all played a role in helping people begin to heal themselves from the legacy of the traumatic past of the human race.

How Does Healing Happen?

Healing is a highly complex subject and there are many things we can do to help ourselves. It has been a source of frustration for many that they have tried so hard to work on their beliefs, social skills, self-care, and relationships and are still in spite of all that effort, suffering from negative energies that arise at various times.

Release Self Blame

We live in a world right now that emphasizes and attributes the blame for problems to the individual. That means that anything that is not working is often personalized in the culture and many people have come to blame themselves if their life is not working perfectly.

Although personal responsibility is important, it is naive to think that we are not affected by the conditions in our culture. Furthermore, the complexity of modern systems makes it difficult to fully understand and identify the causes of problems which in turn, makes it difficult for individuals to be as responsible as they might like to be. It is fair to say that we are definitely challenged to manage our lives in a way that we can be content with. This is not about letting ourselves off the hook. It is more about making sure that we recognize the limitations of what we can know, acknowledge the true interdependency that applies to all our lives, and create a way of life that works with the realities of our time and place. That said, how can we do better?

Another Step Toward Healing

When we understand that we are embedded in our world, it can be easier for us to have some compassion for our struggles. When we are healing most of us focus on our childhoods and the present, naturally. We see our lives in terms of this specific lifetime. However, when we are born and growing up what is also happening is that genetically and energetically we have a connection to the past that exists independent of our healing on present life issues. Sometimes negative energies will surface and we will not understand where they came from because they came from this energetically embedded past.

The good news is that new quantum-based techniques for healing help us release the painful legacy of human history so that it is easier to live in a way that is true to ourselves. When we are able to use these techniques we easily release false beliefs about ourselves and life. We are then able to live fully and naturally and joyfully.

It is wonderful to be living at a time when this is possible.
